Medical Assistant

Shana McClanahan was born and raised in Bayview Hunters Point. She graduated from Phillip & Sala Burton High School and received her Medical Assistant certification from Everest College. Shana understands the value of the services offered at 3rd Street Youth Center and Clinic. When she was in high school she was one of the youth outreach workers (back when 3rd Street was called The Healing Arts Center). Shana started her Medical Assistant/Receptionist position in July 2009. She enjoys working with the youth and staff at 3rd Street. In her free time Shana enjoys shopping, helping the community and doing hair.
